5. How does its function differ from earlier civilizations (if at all)?

III. Use to readings from Sept 21, 26 to consider the following:

1. Briefly summarize the relationship between the Hebrew God and people.

2. What is the most important value to the Hebrew God? (There may be many, but what do you think is the most important based on the readings?)

3. Briefly summarize the story of Job.

4. According to this reading, what is the most important value to the Hebrew God?

5. Did you come up with different values? If so, how do explain the discrepancy?
